PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT & FOUNDER

Chuck Carbonaro, Principal & Founder of Carbonaro Architecture, received a Bachelor of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and completed his Master of Architecture and Urban Design through Syracuse University in Florence Italy in 2004.

For over 20 years, Chuck has provided full-service architecture and design to clients in both Virginia and New York. His work was featured in Home & Design Magazine for a renovation in the Windsor Farms neighborhood in 2021. And in 2023 was nominated for a Golden Hammer Award for the renovation of a home in Mooreland Farms. Chuck’s broad range of architectural experience gives him the experience to design anything from single-family homes to multi-family residential buildings, restaurants, retail, & commercial projects.

Cheryl keeps the office running seamlessly while supporting the design team with detailed drafting. Her background in real estate gives her a unique perspective. She understands both the technical side of home design and the real life needs of homeowners. With her blend of organizational expertise, design knowledge, & client insight, Cheryl helps turn ideas into reality, ensuring every project moves forward with clarity & ease.

PLAYTIME DIRECTOR

Holly is the office sweetheart. With her gentle nature and friendly disposition, she’s always ready for a hearty scratch, a nature walk or a playtime with one of her many toys. If there’s one thing Holly takes seriously, its her toy collection. Her wide array of toys is the perfect indicator of her eclectic tastes in activities.
